Balance in movement

Here are two pictures: This is a 9 week old girl trotting around the living room, and a two year old girl trotting around in the backyard.

The first picture captures her in stride where there is no loss of energy in motion due to wasted extremities of anatomy of any sort. The forehand is fully extended, as his the rear in unison with her front, the back is straight through the movement, with the wither being the highest point of her overline and the foot makes contact with the ground not the hock.

The second picture follows the same principle in adulthood.

The economy of motion in a picture emphasized over two life stages.
